The STOXX Global Industry 4.0 Index is comprised of companies that stand to benefit from the technological advancement leading to a new industrial revolution. The companies in this index are generating revenue from overall technological segments such as cybersecurity, virtual reality or Internet of Things that lead us towards an autonomous machine-driven economic model, in which machines interact with each other without human intervention.

Revere (RBICS) data allow a detailed breakdown of the revenue sources of the eligible companies, helping this index to select companies with substantial exposure to the industry 4.0 trend.

Furthermore, the index excludes companies that Sustainalytics considers to be in breach of UN Global Compact principles or to be involved with controversial weapons.
