The ECPI EMU Ethical Index selects the 150 top capitalized companies in the EMU market which are eligible investments according to ECPI ESG Rating Methodology and Controversial Sectors Screening.

The STOXX Climate Impact Ex UN Global Compact Principles and Controversial Weapons indices will include companies with CDP Performance Bands A to B- (pre-2016 Performance Band A to B). Band A and A- includes companies that are seen as leading companies in terms of climate change: these companies are disclosing particular “actions” which mark them as leaders, as well as high scores across all other levels of the CDP Scoring matrix. Scoring requires detailed company-specific explanations. Band B & B- includes companies that “manage” climate change: companies seek evidence of climate actions implemented and requires company-specific understanding of climate change related issues. The index also exlcudes companies violating international norms, are involved with controversial weapons, tobacco, thermal coal, civilian firearms, military equipment, and unconventional oil and gas.

The ECPI Global ESG Cybersecurity Index is designed to offer investors exposure to listed companies in global developed markets characterized by a positive ESG profile and best placed to seize the opportunities presented by increasing demand in Cybersecurity as larger and larger amounts of confidential information are processed, collected, and stored in digital form.

The iSTOXX APG Emerging Markets Responsible Indices are a series of indices designed to track and quantify the impact of different ESG, Carbon and SDI constraints and tilts on a broad emerging global market cap index. The weighting of each constituent security is determined through an optimization process that is designed to minimize tracking error to the benchmark while improving the ESG, Carbon and SDI exposures.

The STOXX Global ESG Governance Leaders index offers a representation of the global leading companies in terms of governance criteria, based on ESG indicators provided by Sustainalytics. Together with the STOXX Global ESG Environmental Leaders and the STOXX Global ESG Social Leaders indices, the index forms the STOXX Global ESG Leaders index.

Companies that are non-compliant based on the Sustainalytics’ Global Standards Screening assessment or are involved in controversial weapons are not eligible for selection. Additional exclusion filters are applied, screening companies for involvement in tobacco production and distribution, thermal coal extraction and power generation, small arms manufacturing, military contracting, unconventional oil and gas exploration and production, and ESG Controversies.
