The market has chosen Dow Jones STOXX indices as the standard for
European equity index, exchange-listed products. More than 5,000
indices of STOXX Ltd. and Dow Jones Indexes are licensed to over
800 companies around the world, as underlyings for Exchange Traded
Funds (ETFs), Futures & Options, structured products and
passively-managed investment funds.
Three of the top Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) in Europe and 30 percent
of all assets under management are based on Dow Jones STOXX indices.
Beside its leading role as Europe's number one in the ETF segment,
STOXX Ltd. holds Europe's number one and the world's number two position
in the derivatives segment.
